The concept of stay refers to both the place – the house or the landscape, the room or the room where we live – and time, to permanence in a determined place or space.
If we seek an explanation of our world, we must refer both to its spatial reality and to its temporal reality.
It is in this double sense that we must understand "Estancias", an exhibition that includes a selection of 30 works from the Banco Sabadell Art Collection chosen for their ability to evoke places and spaces, exterior and interior, deprived and public, stays in which we move, think and live
