The Banco Sabadell Art Collection began the Documentary Photography section in 2010 with the incorporation of images
selected in Visa for the image contests: International Festival of Photojournalism and DOCfield Barcelona Documentary Photography Festival.
Within the framework of the international PhotoAlicante festival, we present a selection of the works of the DOCfield Barcelona 2017 edition, which revolves around travel in all its forms, whether it is the tourist tour or migration, exodus or diaspora, urban displacement or exploration.
The journey implies a potential encounter with the other and, at the same time, with one himself. In this way, we understand the journey as a transit or passing displacement of personal identity.
