CALIU – FITO CONESA, in Cartagena

The installation Our Own Path Remains by Fito Conesa forms part of the exhibition CALIU – FITO CONESA that can be visited from 7 to 10 May at the Palacio Consistorial and at CIM – Exhibition Hall as part of the Mucho Más Mayo (MMM) festival.

Caliu is a Catalan term referring to the lingering warmth left by a bonfire – embers that continue to burn, capable of sustaining and connecting. Fito Conesa’s first solo exhibition in Cartagena produced by the MMM festival seeks to create a meeting place in which the works and their processes are presented as a community of voices, sounds and images that intertwine and mutually sustain one another to create a singular space that resonates freely with each visitor.
