“Frisoa” is the title of the artistic intervention developed by Xabier Salaberria (San Sebastian, 1969) for Tabakalera, International Centre for Contemporary Culture in San Sebastian, as well as being the name of the main work featured in the intervention.

The project is based on Homenaje al padre Donosti, Suite con el paisaje de Agiña (1959), a stone frieze created by sculptor Jorge Oteiza for the Banco Guipuzcoano building in San Sebastian (now, Sabadell Guipuzcoano). The Banco Sabadell Art Collection participated in this artistic production.

A visit to the frieze located at the Bank’s corporate building, to be guided by Xabier Salaberria, will take place on 3 December 2022.
