As part of the exhibition “The Room of Forbidden Books”, artist Alicia Framis gave a performance at the Blueproject Foundation in Barcelona on 20th April. The performance consisted in a three-hour reading of the reasons – described in the jackets of the books on display – why the books included in the exhibition, which number almost 200, have been censored or banned throughout history.
The Room of Forbidden Books will be open for visitors at the Il Salotto exhibition room of this contemporary art foundation until 14th May.
